About WOW Fall Retreat
WOW, Grace Point Women's Ministry, presents our Fall Retreat and you are invited!
Have you ever compared yourself to other people, wondering how you measure up? Do you often use the phrase "not good enough" to describe your work, your life, or yourself? Are there times when you struggle to meaningfully connect with the people around you? If you answer "yes" to any of these questions, then this year's WOW Retreat is for you! Join us for A Perfect Reflection, to learn how to break the cycle of comparison and live fully known and perfectly loved.
For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known."
1 Corinthians 13:12
Retreat will be held at Michindoh (only 45 minutes away).
There are TWO options for accommodations:
Lodge - sleeps 2 people.
- you will have the option to choose your roommate during registration.
- only 26 lodge rooms are available so register early for this option.
- only your full payment guarantees your registration for the Lodge.
Cabin - sleeps up to 12 people (bunk beds)
- You may request up to 2 roommates during registration and we will do our best to make those arrangements.
Fri night & Sat day options are available.
We have 2 workshop times and ask that you choose your workshops during registration so we can plan well for those sessions.
“The power of prayer is in The ONE who hears it!” (Lucado)
What if our prayer lives were centered on this truth? What would happen if we delighted in seeing God‘s face in prayer instead of simply his hand? Join us in this workshop led by Paula Patteuw, to share thoughts on worship based prayer, praying The Word of God, and even some practical time to pray on paper.
Port Pillow Workshop
Join us as we make chemo port pillows for a local cancer treatment facility. This workshop, led by Kate Hammarberg, will guide you in being a part of creating tangible reflections of Christ’s love. In this workshop you can take part in activities like cutting fabric, sewing, stuffing polyfill and creating encouraging cards to attach to each pillow. There is no need to be crafty to be a part of this workshop. Everyone is welcome to join!
Be a part of this workshop designed to teach you about what it looks like to be a reflection of Christ in your body through proper nutrition and health habits. This workshop, led by Barbara McClure, will guide you in understanding what it means to reflect Christ by honoring him with our bodies.
We have some limited scholarships available. We do not want anyone to not be able to attend because of costs. If you are in need of scholarship help; please register yourself under the "Cabin-scholarship request" type and then fill out the request form. We will notify you once your scholarship has been processed.
