June 3rd - June 10th, 2018
Are you looking to dig deeper into what we believe at Grace Point? Would you like to learn how to get connected in community and service? Foundations is a four-week class offered on Sunday mornings. The classes are structured around our disciple-making strategy, and offer hands-on help for placement in small groups and opportunities to serve.
Foundations classes are for everyone, regardless of how long you’ve been attending or membership status.
Week 1: Worship- Who, how and why we worship, and what does that mean?
Week 2: Grow- Knowing God, and how that makes all the difference
Week 3: Serve- Using our unique gifts to serve each other and the church
Week 4: Engage- Taking Christ’s love and the Gospel out into our community
Would you like to know what it means to be a member of Grace Point? As a follower of Jesus, joining a local church is an expression of what God has made you- a member of the Body of Christ. At Grace Point we firmly believe God has ordained that every member of the global Church be joined with a local congregation for the glory of God and the work of the Gospel.
Starting in 2018, membership classes are an optional two- week extension of our Foundations classes, so that our members may be fully informed about Grace Point’s calling and convictions, and able to join us in unity of purpose.
Grace Kids Crew Camp
June 18th - June 24th, 2018
Join your Grace Point friends for our second Grace Kids Crew Drama Camp as the classic Old Testament story of Joseph is retold in an enthusiastic 1950's setting. Surfer beats, leather jackets, and the Gospel truth! This week long drama camp ends with performances in BOTH services on Sunday, June 24th. Kids who have completed K-5th grade may participate.
The drama performance includes lots of speaking roles, songs, and dance elements so everyone will have a chance to be a part of bringing the Not Your Average Joe to life.
Camp registration is limited to the first 50 campers and registration closes June 3rd.
The cost of the camp is $25 per camper (includes t-shirt, CD, daily snack, and daily craft). Please contact Mindy Davis to hear about scholarship opportunities.
Once you register your kids, please be sure to check your email for a letter from the director, Katie Hiatt.
